Mission Statement

The purpose of the Voltaire Initiative is to grow members traffic and revenues on their interconnected public networks.

The Voltaire members recognize the need for OSS, service features and tariff flexibility to help their telecommunication customers to remain competitive in a global market and will proceed with diligence towards implementation of the features, options and procedures agreed in the Voltaire Forum

This mission statement was originally conceived for public switched packet networks and later on adopted for frame relay services, but the Voltaire members will also ensure the application of the same principles to the upcoming Telecommunication services.
